Next Meeting: December 6th, Workshop - Collage Boxes with Anne Brooke

Tanya Bentham's talk on "Medieval Embroidery" at our last meeting was superb. What a talented embroiderer, author and speaker. She illustrated her talk with wonderful samples of her exquisite work. The amount of stitching in one piece alone is breath taking. The colours, her attention to detail and the modern day twist she incorporates into her pieces, astounded us all . Tanya adheres strictly to her Bayeux Stitch and Opus Anglicanum to create works that are so individual and yet timeless. We are looking forward to a workshop with Tanya next year. Below are the photos of her work but they do not do justice to the samples she showed us in real life.

The raffle for our next meeting is "Christmas Colours"
